With regular visits, waxing can help you achieve silky, smooth skin! By following a proven regimen you can help assure the best results. Each follicle has its own hair growth cycle. Waxing or removing a hair during the active or Anagen growth stage disrupts the cycle and slows the reappearance of the new hair. However, hair removed during it's resting or Telogen phase is likely to be replaced very quickly with a hair that is already formed and has developed to reach just below the surface of the skin. For this reason, it is necessary to wax every two weeks when beginning your regimen so that all hairs are extracted in the Anagen stage and to encourage all follicle growth cycles to be in similar phases. After this is accomplished, regular visits scheduled every 4 - 6 weeks can keep your skin smooth and sexy!

For Best Results...

• Don't shave for at least 2 weeks before waxing. For smoothest removal hair should be as long as a grain of wild rice.
• Resist temtation! Don't shave between waxing!
• Avoid exposure to sun or tanning beds 24 hours before and after treatment.

Don't schedule your appointment while you have:

• Sunburn
• Cuts/broken skin
• Infected Skin
• Retin-A or Adapalene last 3 months.
• Accutane use last 6 months.
• Recent Chemical Peels or Microdermabrasion.

24 Hours After Waxing

AVOID:

• Sun/Tanning Beds
• High SPF sunscreens
• Highly fragranced products
• Makeup (for face waxing)
• Chlorinated Water (pool)
• Hot Water/direct heat (shower/sauna)
• Deodorant with aluminum
• Abrasives, exfoliants or stimulating body or facial treatment.
• Tight clothing for legs/bikini. (no pantyhose) for 48 hours.

If you are prone to ingrown hairs, exfoliate with loofah or exfoliant scrubs AFTER the  hair has begun to grow back.
